LeBron James is ready to hit the ground running with his new coworker.
Shortly after it was reported that the Los Angeles Lakers were landing Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans, James took to Instagram to express his delight at joining forces with the forward next season.
"Let's get it bro! Just the beginning." he wrote.
James made headlines in December when he said it would be "incredible" to play alongside Davis in Los Angeles. The Pelicans, however, were less than amused at the remarks, which head coach Alvin Gentry referred to as tampering. Though James wasn't punished, the league quickly issued a memo to remind all 30 teams to avoid violating the anti-tampering rule.
Davis and James are both clients of Klutch Sports Group and are represented by agent Rich Paul.
