Philadelphia 76ers forward Mike Scott says he'll play in Game 3 against the Toronto Raptors after missing the first two games of the series with a foot injury, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Scott's return provides Philadelphia with a noteworthy threat from deep. The 30-year-old shot 41.2 percent on 3-pointers during the regular season after being acquired in a trade from the Los Angeles Clippers in February.
The Raptors, meanwhile, are now dealing with their own injury concern, as reserve guard Jeremy Lin will miss the contest due to back spasms, according to the Toronto Star's Doug Smith.
Lin played just over three minutes in Game 1 and didn't appear in Game 2. His absence, however, limits Raptors head coach Nick Nurse's backcourt options off the bench, a potential issue if backup point guard Fred VanVleet continues to struggle offensively.
