Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young is garnering support from around the Association in his bid to take home NBA Rookie of the Year honors.

Young dropped 32 points and 11 dimes on Saturday night, including a floater with 0.1 seconds remaining to down the Philadelphia 76ers at home.

It marked the fifth time this season that Young recorded at least 30 points and 10 assists, tying Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan for second-highest among first-year players to drop those numbers.

Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell and Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma took notice of Young's performance and were quick to endorse the 20-year-old gunslinger for the Eddie Gottlieb trophy on Twitter.

Young currently ranks second among rookies in scoring (18.7 points), first in assists (7.9), and third in 3-pointers (144) for the 26-48 Hawks.

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, arguably Young's greatest competition for the hardware, notched his sixth triple-double of the campaign in a blowout win over the reigning champion Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
