Giannis' 1st signature shoe to be released during playoffs

Giannis Antetokounmpo's first signature Nike shoe is finally nearing its release.

Nike CEO Mark Parker announced Friday on a conference call that the Milwaukee Bucks forward's sneaker - rumored to be dubbed the Freak 1 - will debut during the upcoming NBA postseason.

"Building on the energy of the NBA playoffs, Giannis will cap off his incredible season with the reveal of his first signature shoe," Parker said, according to Victor Deng of Sole Collector.

Antetokounmpo expressed excitement about his shoe in September, while noting that it fits his personality.
