Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic has been diagnosed with a strained left knee and is questionable for Tuesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

The Mavericks assessed the Slovenian's knee Monday after he complained about an uncomfortable sensation during Sunday's loss to the Houston Rockets, according to the Dallas News' Gerry Fraley.

"I just felt a 'pop,' Doncic said. "We'll see."

The rookie experienced the issue while securing an uncontested rebound, according to Fraley. Though the exact moment of discomfort isn't clear, he stayed in the game and finished the night with 15 rebounds along with 19 points and nine assists.

Doncic, 20, has lived up to expectations in his first NBA season, averaging 21.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in 62 games for Dallas. Aside from some minor ankle issues earlier this year, the former EuroLeague MVP has stayed relatively healthy despite playing 32.2 minutes per game.
