The Charlotte Hornets have claimed Shelvin Mack off waivers following his release from the Atlanta Hawks, the team announced Sunday.
Mack was waived by the Hawks earlier this week after being acquired from the Memphis Grizzlies on Feb. 7.
The Hornets are the 28-year-old's seventh team in his eight-year career. He's averaged 7.9 points and 3.4 assists over 53 games this season.
Charlotte currently sits seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 27-28 record.
