Puma unveils new shoes in support of criminal justice reform
Puma Basketball is throwing its support behind Meek Mill and his push for criminal justice reform.
Puma unveiled its newest sneaker, the Clyde Court "Reform," on Thursday in partnership with the recently launched Reform Alliance - a foundation led by Mill, Jay-Z, Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Ruben, and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

In a press release, Puma said the black represents the United States prison system in which "many people face unjust sentences that do not fit the crimes for which they have been convicted." The red represents "the blood and sacrifice" of those who have fought oppression and injustices, and the gold represents "the victories that we will achieve together when organizations and individuals come together to work for much needed reform."
A quote from Olympic gold medalist and Puma ambassador Tommie Smith also appears on the heel: "We had to be seen because we couldn't be heard.
DeMarcus Cousins debuted the shoe during Thursday's game between the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards.
