Nunnally began the 2018-19 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 2.1 points per contest in limited action. The 28-year-old was released last week by the T-Wolves and received several offers from European teams, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen.
Before returning to the NBA, Nunnally spent the previous two seasons in Turkey with Fenerbahce. In 2017-18, he averaged 9.3 points on 54.0 percent shooting, including a sizzling 55.4 percent success rate from downtown.
Houston (25-18) sits fourth in the Western Conference entering play Wednesday.
