Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz will continue to see shoulder specialists through early next week, a source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Fultz's teammates are reportedly growing concerned about his well-being - aside from his on-court struggles.

The 76ers are reportedly expected to update his status with the team following the visits.

Fultz's attorney, Raymond Brothers, asked that he stay away from the team until he visits a specialist, according to The Athletic's David Aldridge. Despite Brothers' demands, Fultz was seen practicing with the 76ers shortly after.

He hasn't played since the 76ers' 119-114 win over the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 19.

Rumors of the 76ers' interest in trading Fultz have risen, with reports suggesting that the struggling guard isn't in Philadelphia's long-term plans. However, later reports suggested the team expects the 20-year-old to continue playing in his backup role once he returns.

Fultz started the 76ers' first 15 games of the season before being demoted to a bench role when the team acquired All-Star guard Jimmy Butler.

He's averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 boards, and 3.1 assists through 19 contests.
