Kemba scores career-high 60 in OT loss to Sixers

Kemba Walker continued his one-man show for the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, scoring a career-high 60 points in an overtime loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Walker recorded 58 points in regulation while shooting 62 percent from the floor and adding four steals.

The 60 points are a Hornets franchise record, with Walker accounting for more than half of Charlotte's scoring. His production came on 34 shots, and the rest of the team scored 59 on 65 shots.

The outing marked the NBA's season-high for individual points scored, and was the league's first 60-point performance since James Harden last January against the Orlando Magic.

Walker rebounded nicely from his worst game of the season: A 2-for-17, seven-point outing against the Cleveland Cavaliers last Tuesday. The point guard is still having a scorching campaign, averaging 26.4 points in 14 games.
