The NBA has updated the league's 30 teams on future salary cap projections for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

For the 2019-20 season, the salary cap is projected to be $109 million, with a luxury tax of $132 million, and the following season the cap and tax will be set at $118 million and $143 million, respectively, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The projection for 2019-20 remains unchanged from reports in June, but has received a 1.5 percent bump for the 2020-21 season, Charania added.

As many of the inflated, four-year deals that were signed in 2016 are set to come off the books, the cap bump, which accounts to a $2 million dollar increase, will surely help teams as a strong free agent class hits the open market.
