The San Antonio Spurs and unrestricted free-agent forward Dante Cunningham have agreed to a contract, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Cunningham was acquired by the Brooklyn Nets from the New Orleans Pelicans in February. A player with the ability to play both forward positions, Cunningham has expanded his shooting range the past two seasons, hitting on 37 percent from beyond the arc after averaging under 27 percent on less than one attempt per game during his first seven NBA campaigns.
Change appears to be afoot with the Spurs. In addition to the persistent Kawhi Leonard trade rumors, longtime point guard Tony Parker signed with the Charlotte Hornets this month.
