The two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors have officially added All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins to their already stacked roster, the team announced Friday.
Cousins, who is coming off a torn Achilles tendon, agreed to a reported one-year deal for the taxpayer's mid-level exception, valued at approximately $5.3 million.
The 27-year-old big man continues to rehab from his injury, which is expected to keep him sidelined for a large chunk of the upcoming 2018-19 regular season.

In his first full season as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017-18, Cousins was the only player in the Association to average over 25 points (25.2), 12 rebounds (12.9), and five assists (5.4).
