Kostas Antetokounmpo - the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis - has elected to cancel his remaining scheduled private NBA workouts, but will keep his name in the June 21 draft, sources told Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
Such a move could mean that Antetokounmpo has secured a draft promise from a team, although the 20-year-old had a fairly underwhelming freshman season with Dayton. In 29 games, he averaged 5.2 points in 15.1 minutes.
Like his brother at the same age, however, Antetokounmpo is a raw physical specimen at 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-2 wingspan and 9-foot-2 standing reach. If he's not drafted, his measurements may be enough to help him catch on as a free agent.
