Pacers draft Aaron Holiday, brother of Jrue and Justin, with No. 23 pick
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports
With the No. 23 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers selected UCLA point guard Aaron Holiday.
The younger brother of Jrue and Justin, Holiday came off the bench as Lonzo Ball's backup in 2016-17, then returned as a starter for his junior year and put together an eye-popping offensive campaign. He led the Pac-12 in scoring with 20.3 points per game, ranked second in the conference with 5.8 assists, and shot 42.9 percent from beyond the arc on over six 3-point attempts a night.
Holiday is undersized and lacks elite athleticism, but compensates with an impressive wingspan and first-step quickness.

What the analysts are saying
- "Holiday had an outstanding junior season, and he would bring a number of attractive traits with his microwave scoring ability, long wingspan, and toughness. The fact that he can space the floor and play off the ball some is important." - Jonathan Givony, ESPN
- "Lack of size and leaping ability make it difficult for him to finish at the rim. He'll need to adjust to the size and speed of the NBA and further develop his floater and ability to get shots off quickly." - Ben Parker, NBADraft.net
