Report: 76ers' Colangelo decision could come Wednesday
The Philadelphia 76ers could have a decision on the future of Bryan Colangelo as soon as Wednesday, according to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Ownership met Tuesday night to discuss the controversy that connects Philadelphia's president of basketball operations and his wife Barbara Bottini to several Twitter accounts used to criticize 76ers players, take shots at Colangelo's predecessor Sam Hinkie, and seemingly give out inside team information.
The Sixers hired the law firm of Paul/Weiss to look into the matter.
Colangelo and his wife were interviewed separately as part of the investigation. Even if Bottini is responsible for the Twitter accounts, the team is unsure if it can separate Colangelo from his wife's alleged actions. Colangelo has denied any knowledge of information his wife may have shared, sources told Wojnarowski.
