The Golden State Warriors have made a habit out of purchasing second-round draft picks, and that could continue this summer.

Currently in possession of the 28th overall selection, Warriors owner Joe Lacob would be willing to once again pay for a second-rounder,

"For us, it's (players drafted) 20 to 40 or 20 to 50," said Lacob at the Draft combine on Friday during an appearance on ESPN2, according to 95.7 The Game's Karl Buscheck. "And that's where we are - 28. Maybe we'll buy a second-round pick again. I've very aggressive with respect to those, as you know."

In 2017, the Warriors sent $3.5 million to the Chicago Bulls for the 38th pick, which was used on Jordan Bell. The year prior, it was a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks for $2.4 million which brought Patrick McCaw to the Bay Area.

The Warriors struck gold in 2012 by using their 35th pick on Draymond Green - a player who's made three All-Star rosters and was the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year.

Golden State's own 2018 second-rounder is in the Denver Nuggets' possession, who acquired it back in 2013 as part of a trade for Andre Iguodala.
