The Houston Rockets announced that forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute dislocated his shoulder on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The injury occurred on a dunk with just over seven minutes remaining in the second quarter.
The 6-foot-8 defensive stopper missed 15 games earlier in the season with the same injury. The Rockets went 8-7 during that span, including a five-game losing streak.
Mbah a Moute is averaging 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds in 60 games and has been an integral part of the Rockets' sixth-ranked defense.
