The injury bug has followed Danilo Gallinari to Los Angeles.

A recent MRI revealed a non-displaced fracture of Gallinari's right hand which went undetected by prior X-rays. As a result, the 29-year-old Italian sharpshooter will miss at least the next two weeks of action before being re-evaluated.

He sat out the Clippers' last three games with the injury before further testing showed the extent of the damage.

Gallinari has only suited up for 19 games in his first season with the organization, mainly due to a pair of glute injuries, including a partial tear of his left glute muscle which cost him 25 games from Dec. 11 through Jan. 28.

He signed a three-year, $65-million contract with the Clippers as part of a three-team, sign-and-trade deal last July, and is averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 40.7 percent shooting from the field.

The 32-28 Clippers are half a game behind Denver for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
