DJ Khaled, Mark Wahlberg headline Slam Dunk contest judges

More often than not, the people judging the Slam Dunk contest are less of a story than the participants. And although that may still be the case, this year's choice may raise a few eyebrows.
Now, without further ado, here are the five judges set to score the 2018 Verizon Slam Dunk contest:

It's almost farcical that three of the five judges for a dunk contest have likely never dunked a basketball. Regardless, this says a lot more about the location than it does about taking the symbolic direction by inviting former Lakers to judge. Celebrities always reign supreme in La La Land.
