Embiid misses game vs. Heat with sore ankle
Joel Embiid didn't play in Wednesday's contest versus the Miami Heat due to right ankle soreness.
It's the 11th game the Philadelphia 76ers star has missed this season, with the club going 2-8 in the previous games without its starting center.
The reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Week was on hand at Wells Fargo, receiving his All-Star jersey before the game.

The first-time All-Star's in store for a very busy weekend in L.A. where he's set to suit up in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday, the Skills Challenge on Saturday, and the big game on Sunday.
He's averaging 23.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 blocks in 31.4 minutes over 44 games.
