Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and Houston Rockets guard James Harden have been named the Players of the Week for games played from Feb. 5-11, the NBA announced Monday.

Embiid averaged a monster double-double of 26.7 points and 15 rebounds, plus 2.3 blocks, 1.7 assists, and a steal while leading the Sixers to three wins by an average of 15 points. That's helped the up-and-coming squad maintain a playoff spot heading into the All-Star break.

Harden averaged 33 points on 44.6 percent shooting from the field and 39.1 percent on 18 threes, to go along with 6.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals over four games - all wins for his Rockets. Harden's top performance came Wednesday in Miami, when he notched an efficient 41 points, six dimes, four boards, and three steals to lead his team to victory.

It's the second consecutive Player of the Week honor for the Beard, and his fifth of 2017-18. Houston has the best point differential in the NBA (plus-8.5) and the second-best record (42-13).
