After garnering the highest vote count in the Western Conference, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has been named an All-Star captain alongside the East's LeBron James.

Other representatives from the West joining Curry as All-Star starters are teammate Kevin Durant, Houston Rockets guard James Harden, and New Orleans Pelicans big men Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

As it was last year, the vote was split between fans, media members, and players, with the fan vote being weighted at 50 percent, and media and players accounting for 25 percent each.

There wasn't a huge discrepancy in the selections of the three voting blocs, though if it had been a straight fan vote, as it was up until last season, Draymond Green would've given the Warriors a third starter, and 40-year-old Spurs lifer Manu Ginobili would've started for the first time in his storied career.

Here's how the vote broke down.

Fan vote:

Frontcourt player (votes) Guards (votes)
Durant (2238406) Curry (2379494)
