Derrick Rose's nagging ankle issue will keep him off the court for longer than anticipated, as the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard is set to miss a minimum of two more weeks, the team announced.
Rose, who's already missed the Cavaliers' past four games, will have his ankle immobilized in a boot for the next week.
He was initially injured in an Oct. 20 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, spraining his left ankle in the fourth quarter of just the second game of the season.
Rose is averaging 14.3 points, 1.7 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in seven games this season.
