Miami Heat owner and Carnival Cruise Line chairman Micky Arison will pledge a minimum of $2 million for relief and rebuilding efforts in the Houston/Gulf Coast region following the destruction brought by Hurricane Harvey.
Arison, one of the NBA's richest owners with an estimated net worth of $6 billion, joins Rockets owner Les Alexander and a list of current and former stars in providing financial support.
Last year, the Heat temporarily conducted preseason workouts in Houston while South Florida hunkered down for Hurricane Matthew.
