Red Sox affiliate to celebrate Celtics trade with 'Kyrie Irving Night'
That didn't take long.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics caught everyone by surprise Tuesday when they agreed to a mammoth swap of All-Star point guards Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas - among others - to drastically shift the dynamic of the NBA's Eastern Conference.
Less than 24 hours after the official deal, the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, the Pawtucket Red Sox, announced they are celebrating the Celtics' acquisition of the four-time All-Star by hosting their own "Kyrie Irving Night" on Thursday.

While the club is planning to celebrate with plenty of giveaways to mark the occasion, some unfortunate fans may have to cough up a little more for the festivities. According to the release, any fans named LeBron, Draymond, Steph, Lonzo, or Kevin will supposedly be charged twice as much for admission.
