Report: Heat would part with Dragic, Winslow to acquire Irving
The Miami Heat are one of several teams interested in acquiring All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving from the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they're willing to part with some of their more valuable assets to facilitate a deal.
Both Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow would be used as the centerpieces of a potential trade, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The only issue, per Wojnarowski, is the history between the two franchises, making it very unlikely a deal gets struck, even with Irving listing the Heat as one of his preferred destinations. Unless Miami can make an exorbitant offer that Cleveland simply couldn't refuse, there's little chance of it coming to fruition.

Dragic, 31, is under contract for two more seasons, with a player option worth just over $19 million in 2019-20. He led the 41-41 Heat in both scoring (20.3 points) and assists (5.8) in 2016-17, while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from the behind the arc.
Winslow only made 18 appearances in his sophomore year in South Beach, missing 16 games at the start of the year with a sore left wrist. He was then ruled out for good in January following surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
The Cavaliers have attempted to contact Irving since his trade request, but have reportedly yet to receive a response. Irving was the No. 1 draft pick in 2011, and now desires to be more of a focal point elsewhere instead of continuing to play second fiddle to LeBron James.
