Report: Hayward 'trying to re-evaluate' after rumored intentions leaked
On a day when teams, fans, and players anxiously awaited Gordon Hayward's pending free-agency decision, the fireworks were delayed.
The unrestricted free agent was reportedly "upset" after rumors circulated about a potential divorce from the Utah Jazz.

After news initially broke that Hayward intended to sign with the Celtics, sources from both Boston and Utah quickly denied having any knowledge of Hayward's final decision.
The Utah Jazz are still waiting to be told of Gordon Hayward's intentions, league source tells ESPN. Hayward hasn't told them his plans yet.

Another league source says Boston hasn't heard yet directly from Hayward. Again: doesn't mean he cant pick Cs later; he just hasn't yet.

The decision has apparently weighed heavily on the seven-year pro. Hayward had reportedly narrowed it down to a return to Utah or a departure to Boston, with the Miami Heat considered a dark horse candidate.
Sources told the Salt Lake Tribune's Tony Jones that Hayward "has changed his mind four times in the last four days."
Now, it seems that an official declaration from Hayward's camp might not even come Tuesday after all.
Hayward's agent Mark Bartelstein on whether final word is coming today: "That was the goal, but now we've got to kind of regroup here a bit"

Meanwhile, Hayward maintained his silence across his social media platforms Tuesday, giving no indication of whether there will be something other than independence to celebrate this Fourth of July - depending, of course, on one's NBA allegiances.
