Paul Pierce didn't much care for Brandon Jennings' performance in this year's postseason.

The backup point guard for the now-eliminated Washington Wizards announced Thursday on Twitter that he planned to start his offseason by getting some run in at the famous West 4th Street courts in Manhattan.

The recently retired Pierce was asked on The Jump on Friday for his thoughts on Jennings' transition to street ball.

"He need to stay there," Pierce said. "The way he performed in the playoffs this year, he might as well just go all year round on 4th Street."

In 13 playoff games with the Wizards, Jennings averaged 2.8 points and 1.8 assists, while shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 15.4 percent from 3-point range, and playing sieve-like defense. The team was 19 points per 100 possessions better with him on the bench.
