Faried will start at power forward Friday against the Hornets, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.
Analysis:
Faried will replace Wilson Chandler in the starting five, but it's unclear if coach Michael Malone plans on sticking with this arrangement beyond Friday. While dealing with a bum shoulder lately, Faried has been limited to 16.6 minutes per game over the past five contests, but figures to see more extended run with his promotion to the starting five. In his other 29 starts this season, Faried has averaged 10.4 points and 8.0 rebounds.
