Watch: Isaiah doesn't even bother to jump for tip vs. Giannis

Isaiah Thomas has taken part in some interesting jump balls this season.
Having faced off at center against fellow sub-six-foot point guard Tyler Ulis earlier in the month, Thomas was given the less enviable task of jumping it out with 6-foot-11 Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night.
Counter to his chip-on-the-shoulder, take-on-any-challenge ethos, Thomas waved the white flag as soon as the ball was tossed, simply backing off and allowing Antetokounmpo to control the tip.
Obviously he did not take inspiration from the 5-foot-9 Nate Robinson, who once cleanly won a jump ball over the 6-foot-11 Rafael Araujo.
Or, maybe he was hoping to emulate this Robinson masterpiece.
