Durant receives potato with get-well message during recovery

It looks like 2017 is slowly becoming the year of the potato.

Add injured Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant to the growing list of NBA players - one that includes Hassan Whiteside, Dirk Nowitzki, and Frank Kaminsky - who have been receiving potatoes as gifts.

Durant - who is currently out of action recovering from an MCL sprain - showed off his spud Friday on social media while undergoing treatment.

At least the potato didn't come from one of Durant's taters ... I mean, haters.
