Nuggets' Kenneth Faried: Injures back Friday

Faried was ruled out from returning to Friday's game against the Nets due to back spasms.

Analysis:

Faried endured an awkward fall that ultimately led to his exit from the contest. He finished with nine points (3-4 FG, 3-4 FT) and six rebounds in 16 minutes before leaving the game. He was on the injury report with an ankle injury heading into the night, but he did deal with back issues earlier in the season. His status for Sunday's matchup against the Grizzlies is seemingly up in the air at this point.
