Good news: J.R. Smith's daughter is making progress.
After being born five months premature last month, Dakota Smith was extubated for the first time on Wednesday, lasting three hours before needing to be re-intubated.
Smith's wife, Jewel, wrote in her blog that Dakota will be extubated once again in about a week's time.
