Washington Wizards assistant coach Sidney Lowe has been fined $5,000 for stepping onto the court in Thursday's contest versus the New York Knicks.
The Wizards' organization has also been handed a $15,000 fine.
Lowe made his way on the playing court during the Knicks' final possession, potentially impacting the outcome of the game.
Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee said after the game that Lowe distracted him from taking an open three, causing him to drive and pass to Brandon Jennings instead.
