Does Melo think he plays with San Diego's top-rated newsman?

With the New York Knicks trailing the Atlanta Hawks by a point at halftime on Monday, Carmelo Anthony credited a teammate playing well in a new role.

"Burgundy came in, great minutes as a starter today," the 32-year-old All-Star said in a TV interview.

He was referring to Ron Baker, who scored six points in the first half after drawing his first start at the two-spot while Courtney Lee came off the bench.

As it turns out, it wasn't just a hilarious mistake. Baker's teammates regularly refer to him as the "Anchorman" protagonist, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

So, no, Melo didn't immediately regret that decision.
