Watch: Stars, rookies score 1st baskets with new teams

Kevin Durant is a member of the Golden State Warriors. Dwyane Wade returned home to join the Chicago Bulls. Dwight Howard joined the Atlanta Hawks.

The basketball world was turned on its head this offseason with a ton of high-profile names changing teams, and even though we're two weeks into the preseason, the reality of those players being somewhere else still hasn't kicked in for a majority of fans.

Their respective first baskets should make the transition a tad smoother, though, with the NBA compiling a video package of their first points in their new uniforms as we inch closer to the start of the regular season.

Let's not forget about the rookies either, as the likes of Brandon Ingram, Jaylen Brown, and Dragan Bender look to make an impact of their own in their new surroundings.
