Klay Thompson concedes there's only 1 ball: 'We're gonna put it through the hoop'
To the extent that it's possible to have doubts about a team that's set to feature four All-NBAers, including the two players who've accounted for the last three MVPs, Klay Thompson has heard them.
The loudest and most pervasive of these doubts: How will Thompson, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant make it all work when there's only one basketball to go around.
Thompson explained the solution to that quandary in fairly straightforward terms.
"Yeah, there's only one ball," he said on KNBR radio Wednesday night. "And guess what, we're gonna put it through the hoop."
Given that the Warriors had the 10th-best offensive rating in NBA history last season, and effectively just swapped Durant in for Harrison Barnes, Thompson's prediction seems a safe one.
