Drake is Doris Burke's biggest fan
As one of the premiere sideline reporters and analysts covering the NBA, Doris Burke has surely had her share of experiences on and around the sidelines.
But even the most seasoned reporters can still be caught off guard, and for Burke, that happened when she caught the attention of the 6 God, himself.
In a 1-on-1 with NY Mag's Rembert Browne, Burke describes the encounter.
You go to a Raptors game and Drake is sitting there.
Can I tell you something about the last time I was there? I just could not believe this happened. Drake turned around - my seat at game six was right behind him - makes a heart shape (with his hands) and points at me. I'm looking around behind me to see who's there, turn back to him and then he points and he does it again. I texted my daughter and said, 'You need to know Drake just did this to me.'
Now we wait for the inevitable Burke name-drop on Drake's next album.
