Special paint scheme elements introduced for Chase drivers

NASCAR unveiled some new paint scheme elements for Cup drivers participating in the Chase for the Sprint Cup playoff system.
As you can see by the graphic below, here are the elements on the cars that’ll change for Chase drivers:
- The roof number will be changed to yellow
- The front splitter / front fascia will be changed to yellow
- The windshield header with the driver’s name on it will be changed to yellow
- A Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup logo will be assigned to the front quarter panel of their race car.

The paint schemes will begin running at the start of the Chase on September 14th at Chicagoland Speedway.
Once a driver is eliminated from the Chase, the elements will be removed from the car.
