Dos Anjos needed a mere 66 seconds to successfully defend his lightweight title in the main event of UFC on FOX 17 on Saturday night, earning a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his drubbing of Donald Cerrone.
Nate Diaz and Michael Johnson were awarded Fight of the Night honors for their 15 minute live-action version of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. In what was one of the finest performances of his career, Diaz goaded his opponent into a firefight and made "The Menace" pay dearly, force-feeding a flustered Johnson a steady diet of vicious 1-2 combinations.
Finally, Luque pocketed a $50,000 Performance of the Night check for his submission victory over Hayden Hassan. Luque sparked Hassan with a heavy right cross and locked up a fight-ending anaconda choke when "Hulk" desperately dove for a takedown.
