Holly Holm: Jon Jones brought practices to 'a fun level'

With a potential career-making fight staring her in the face, Holly Holm has a pound-for-pound great on her side.

Teammates at Jackson-Winkeljohn, Holm has the benefit of training with former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones as she prepares to tangle with the terrifying world-destroyer known as Ronda Rousey on Nov. 14.

"I do like his outlook on training,” Holm told MMAjunkie.com's Justin Park of Jones' calming presence in practice. "… I'm always worked up about training. And sometimes he just takes it down to more of a fun level. I love that."

Although Jones - who was recently reinstated to the UFC's active roster - has largely stayed off the radar following his hit-and-run arrest in April, he's been a staple at Jackson-Winkeljohn, helping teammates prepare for upcoming fights.

"On the other side of it, I love that he has a great fighting mindset," Holm said. "We have three of the same coaches, and he's been able to take what those coaches taught and make it work for him. So I love to hear his insight and pick his brain about it."
