Quinton "Rampage" Jackson isn't worried about the potential legal issue brewing between the UFC and Bellator in regards to his ability to ply his trade under the Zuffa umbrella.
According to Bellator president Scott Coker, Jackson is still under an exclusive contract with his promotion, though Jackson cautions Coker not to fight his defection with too much vigor.
"I don't think Bellator going to put up a big fuss because if they try to sue me I could counter-sue them for, probably, ten, twenty million (dollars)," Jackson told reporters last week, according to Fox Sports' Elias Cepeda.
"So, if they was smart, they would just let me walk away and be happy... I wish I could show you guys the contract. I just think Scott Coker, he felt bad because he got caught lying."
Jackson is hardly the fighter he was when he briefly ruled the 205-pound division more than a half decade ago, but his reinsertion into the mix could inject some much-needed personality and style into a company searching for box office stars.
"I've been following a little bit and it's been kind of boring," Jackson said. "I think a lot of fans have missed out... it needs a little personality. I don't know what's going on over here."
