Serbian welterweight Uros Medic made quick work of Daniel Rodriguez in his long-awaited homecoming bout.
Medic scored a TKO finish 30 seconds into the UFC Fight Night main event Saturday in Belgrade, Serbia.
Fans at the sold-out Belgrade Arena erupted into a frenzy after Medic, who was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, secured his first main-event victory in lightning-quick fashion.
Medic floored Rodriguez with a lethal combination and then rained down ground-and-pound until referee Jason Herzog waved off the fight.

Medic, ranked No. 14 in the 170-pound division, is now riding a four-fight winning streak, all first-round finishes. None of his bouts over the last two years have made it past 79 seconds.
Rodriguez stepped into the Octagon for the first time since July 2025 after serving an eight-month jail sentence in Mexico for marijuana possession. The 39-year-old California native's three-fight winning streak ended. He suffered his first stoppage loss since facing Ian Machado Garry in 2023.
