Michael Bisping defeated Cung Le by TKO (strikes) 57 seconds into the fourth round of their main event bout at UFC Fight Night 48 in Macau on Saturday.

While Le landed some of the bigger blows early in round one, Bisping weathered the storm and began to repeatedly strike Le's face. He wouldn't let up.
Le began wincing early in Round 2, as Bisping continue to target his opponent's eyes. Le was clearly wounded, and clearly having trouble seeing out of his right eye, leading to the referee calling for the doctor. Bisping had all the momentum by the time Round 2 ended, and it was only a matter of time before he finished Le.
Bisping took Round 3, as well, as he stayed on the offensive, aggressively targeting Le's battered face. We'll give credit to Le. It's a miracle he made it to the fourth round. He showed heart and determination, but this fight was essentially over in Round 2.
While Le began Round 4 with a hard kick to Bisping's body, that was all he could muster. He didn't quit, and Bisping went for the kill, landing punch after punch, injuring Le, and finishing him off with a hard knee. Le hit the mat, Bisping followed with more punches, and the fight was mercifully called.
Bisping improves to 25-6 with the win, while Le drops to 9-3.
Bisping just set a new record for most wins in the octagon, and to have never have received a title shot.
