VIDEO: Tito Ortiz' 2nd win since 2006

In case you missed it, former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz won his second fight since 2006 Saturday night, using an tight arm-triangle to choke blown-up middleweight Alexander Shlemenko into unconsciousness.

Aside from a flukish victory over Ryan Bader in 2011, "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" (17-11-1) hadn't defeated anyone not named Ken Shamrock since a split-decision win over Forrest Griffin at UFC 59.

Does this stunning upset signal a return to relevance for the oft-injured leader of Team Punishment?

No. Probably not.

Shlemenko is undersized by middleweight standards, and was lighting up Ortiz to the body before he was dragged to the floor and had his limited defensive grappling skills exposed.

Still, it was nice to see Ortiz emerge victorious if only so we could see him unleash his classic grave-digger celebration.
