Israel Adesanya will face Shara Magomedov in a five-round middleweight bout to headline UFC Saudi Arabia on Dec. 5.

Another five-round fight between welterweights Ian Machado Garry and Yaroslav Amosov will serve as the co-main event, the promotion announced during Saturday's UFC Fight Night 293 broadcast.

It will be the first UFC event hosted in Riyadh since Feb. 2025. Nassourdine Imavov defeated Adesanya via second-round TKO in that card's main event.

Adesanya, 37, is 24-6-0 in his MMA career and riding a four-fight losing streak. Most recently, the former two-time middleweight champ suffered a second-round TKO to Joe Pyfer in March.

The 32-year-old Magomedov is 17-1-0 and on a two-fight winning streak. After his first career loss to Michael Page, Magomedov bounced back with back-to-back wins against Michel Pereira and Marc-Andre Barriault.

Garry (17-2-0) is coming off a loss to Islam Makhachev for the welterweight belt.

Amosov is 30-1-0, which includes a current three-fight winning streak, all via submission.
