Conor McGregor purchased a stake in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).

The UFC star announced the news in a video aired on Saturday's BKFC: KnuckleMania 4 broadcast. The deal's terms - completed in association with McGregor Sports & Entertainment - weren't disclosed.

BKFC president David Feldman said he's "over the moon" to have McGregor on board.

"You got the biggest guy in all of combat sports right now as a part owner of our company," Feldman said on the broadcast. "I think it's just gonna move the needle tremendously. We're gonna do a lot of big things. We're gonna open up a lot of new markets.

"Look, we're partners with Conor McGregor right now. Everybody in the combat sports world, everybody in the world knows who that guy is. Conor, thank you, and let's blow this shit up."

BKFC has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years, with the likes of Mike Perry, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez having competed in the organization.

McGregor attended a BKFC event in April 2023 and did an impromptu staredown with Perry, a former UFC fighter widely regarded as the face of the bare-knuckle promotion.

McGregor is scheduled to return to the Octagon for the first time in nearly three years. He'll take on Michael Chandler in a welterweight bout at UFC 303 on June 29.
