A meeting between featherweight competitors Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria is set to headline a UFC event on June 17, a source told Mike Bohn and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.

Emmett was riding a five-fight winning streak until he was submitted by Yair Rodriguez at UFC 284 in February, which was his last appearance in the Octagon. He won two fights by KO, two by unanimous decision, and one by split decision during his winning streak.

Topuria's last fight came at UFC 282 last December when he submitted Bryce Mitchell in the second round. The June 17 event will be the first five-round contest for Topuria. The 26-year-old is unbeaten in UFC action thus far with a 5-0 record. All but one of his victories have come via KO or submission.

The location of the June 17 card is still unknown.
