Jon Jones apparently didn't walk away from his return fight last weekend feeling completely fulfilled.

After sitting on the sidelines for three years, Jones steamrolled Ciryl Gane in just over two minutes at UFC 285 to win the vacant heavyweight championship and become the eighth fighter in UFC history to claim titles in two divisions.

"Somewhere inside there was this unsatisfying feeling," Jones wrote Thursday morning when asked by a Twitter user if he was angry the fight didn't last longer.

However, Jones wrote he's glad he left the Octagon without any injuries. The new champ is now perfectly positioned to make his first title defense against former two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, possibly at the UFC's annual International Fight Week event in July.

"It was what it was," Jones wrote. "I'm super grateful."

The former longtime light heavyweight champion competed at heavyweight for the first time in his career, making good on an 11-year promise that he would move up in weight. He weighed in for the fight at 248 pounds and was less ripped than when he fought at 205 pounds. Jones wrote that he "learned so much" against Gane and that he'll "come back at the same exact weight but much leaner."

Jones is arguably the greatest MMA fighter of all time. He holds UFC records for longest unbeaten streak (19), wins in title fights (15), and title defenses (11, tied with Demetrious Johnson), among numerous others. He has never truly lost in the sport.
